On Wednesday, 8 August 2023, the Student Executive Board (BEM) of the Faculty of Administrative Sciences and Humanities, Muhammadiyah University Sukabumi (FIAH UMMI), in collaboration with the Ministry of Communication and Information of the Republic of Indonesia (KOMINFO RI) held a National Seminar entitled "Innovation and Use of Technology in the Era of Society 5.0". Located in the UMMI Hall. This event was attended by the Dean, Deputy Dean, Lecturers, and students from the FIAH environment.

The National Seminar is one of a series of lively activities for the 16th FIAH Anniversary. The opening ceremony began with a speech from the Sukabumi City Communications and Information Office representing the Mayor of Sukabumi and presenting the Head of the Indonesian Communications and Information Technology Education Sector Digital Literacy Team as the key speaker. The seminar was packaged in a very interesting and interactive manner because it presented keynote speakers from the Main Digital Pandu of KOMINFO RI, the Secretary of the Sukabumi Creative Hub (SCH), and the Dean of FIAH, who are very competent in their respective fields and act as moderators for the Deputy Dean of FIAH. The seminar aims to provide enlightenment and insight for FIAH students so they can understand and utilize technology appropriately to benefit society in the Society 5.0 era.
