On the weekend of the third week of January, more precisely on 20 and 21 January 2024, The English Literature Students Association at Muhammadiyah University of Sukabumi, successfully held an MPH (Masa Pengkaderan Himpunan) event aimed at new English Literature students, class of 2023. This annual event was attended by English literature students, English literature lecturers, the head of the dean of FIS (Fakultas Ilmu Sosial) and representatives of ORMAWA (Organisasi Mahasiswa) leadership within FIS.

MPH is an event in a series of new student orientation activities at Sukabumi Muhammadiyah University. After going through new student orientation at the university and faculty levels, MPH is a new student orientation activity at the study program level. Like the previous orientation activities, MPH is also mandatory for all new English literature students to attend.

The implementation of this MPH activity is one of the efforts of the English literature study program to create competent human resources, who have a high social spirit, have a sense of responsibility, have a leadership spirit, great teamwork performance and problem solving skills, honest and can think critically.

there are many activities that can be done by new English literature students in this MPH activity. Some of these activities include general knowledge tests, problem solving and critical thinking tests, playing games in groups for teamwork training, eating together, expressing aspirations, distributing merchandise, performing artworks, and welcoming new English literature students.

This MPH activity comes with a different theme and concept every year. This year, the MPH committee decided to carry the theme of 'Forming Intellectual Cadres For a More Superior English Literature Student Association'. MPH of English Literature will return next year with a new and better theme and concept than before.
